  • Problem

    Generic ideas lack creator context

Creators need to judge audience fit, choose an angle and plan production. Generic AI suggestions give them little context or control over what comes next.

  • Solution

    Editable video plans

Connect channel context, discovery and AI coaching in one mobile flow. Let creators refine the title, outline and script before saving a plan.

Three decisions that shaped the experience

  • First use

    Start without a channel.

Connect a channel or choose interests manually. The interest route previews ideas so creators can confirm or correct the direction.

  • Creative control

    Keep each decision editable.

Separate the title, length, outline and script. This adds steps, but makes each decision easier to inspect and change.

  • Trust

    Show access limits clearly.

Distinguish general guidance from channel-specific analysis. Show access requirements at the moment they affect the answer.

Four destinations for a creator’s work

Create supports the next video, Optimize improves existing uploads, and Learn builds practical skills. The You tab holds channel context and preferences. The coach stays available across all four areas.

From creator interests to an editable plan

Four connected flows carry a creator from first-use context to discovery, planning and ongoing coaching. Try the interactions below with sample creator data.

The central tradeoff is speed versus authorship. A generated plan is useful when a creator can recognize their intent, inspect the choices and change the result. Confirmation, editing and recovery therefore belong inside the main flow.

Reuse familiar controls across the app

Shared inputs, topic chips, selection states and navigation keep the app familiar. Video references, timed script scenes and conversation actions give each task the controls it needs.

What I would validate next

The next evaluation should follow a complete creator task, from first use to returning to unfinished work. These are proposed validation priorities, not measured project results.
  • Activation

    Reach a useful first plan.

Measure the share of new creators who save or edit a plan, and the time it takes. Compare the connected-channel and interest-only paths.

  • Understanding

    Know what the assistant knows.

Ask creators to explain what informed a recommendation and which channel data the coach can access. Check whether they can correct an unsuitable answer.

  • Return use

    Pick up without starting over.

Track whether creators reopen and revise a saved plan within seven days. Pair that signal with sessions observing how people recover their context.

The wider creator-tool landscape

This October 2026 comparison examines how current products help creators assess an opportunity, inspect its evidence and save the work. It is a present-day perspective on the December 2023 design.
